Tissington Traffic Jam
The Bank Holiday weekend brought several thousand visitors to the village. With a Craft Fair in the Village Hall, a Car Boot in aid of Church Funds and a Garden Opening at the Hall for the National Gardens Scheme the village thronged with happy people. |

Tissington Hall will open EARLY on Bank Holiday Monday at 11am for guided tours and in aid of the NGS National gardens Scheme raising cash for cancer charities and garden charities. |

Six scenes of the Tissington Estate and Village are now on show at Tisington Hall. Painted by artist Debs Last , the six are now on the walls at Tissington Hall.Inspired by the landscape and beautiful surroundings Debs spent some time in the Peak District Village over the last few months. |

FETE RAISES £1500 for CHURCH FUNDS
The excellent Ashbourne Town Band played at Tissington Hall on Sunday to add to the entertainment at the annual Fete. In all around £1500 was raised for Church Funds as 400 people experienced the stalls, stands and teas at this amiable country house |

Tissington Hall Open Days
The Hall is open to visitors from Tuesday 27th July on Tues Wed Thurs & Fri afternoons 1.30-4.00pm. until Aug 30th.Come and explore the centuries of history at this magnificently maintained country-house, home to the FitzHerbert family for 500 years. |
